Andrew is a rising sophomore dual-majoring in Applied Math-Economics and Music at Brown University, where he studies organ with Professor Mark Steinbach. Previously, he studied with Christian Lane at the Boston Organ Studio.

 

Andrew studied piano with Michael Becker at All Newton Music School since the age of five and was introduced to the pipe organ while attending Interlochen Arts Camp in the summer of 2019. He then began organ studies with Christian Lane at the Boston Organ Studio, and returned to Interlochen as an organ major in the summers of 2020-23 where he studied with Thomas Bara. Andrew also attended the Oberlin Summer Organ Academy (2020-21) and the Hartford Pipe Organ Encounter (POE) in the summer of 2022. In the summer of 2024, Andrew attended the organ and early keyboard programs in Romainmôtier, Switzerland; Haarlem, Netherlands; and Smarano, Italy.

Andrew is a recipient of the Boston American Guild of Organists (AGO) Scholarship. Under Mr. Lane's direction at the Boston Organ Studio, Andrew competed and won 3rd place at the UNCSA National High School Organ Competition in January 2022. He also competed in the L. Cameron Johnson National High School Organ Competition in April 2022. He then went on to play on Pipedreams in May of 2022, at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall (Methuen, MA), the nationally syndicated radio show hosted by Michael Barone. Since starting at Brown, Andrew has substituted at a variety of churches in Rhode Island. Andrew plays at services at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Nantucket, MA), and in 2022, played as a guest artist for the 31st Nantucket Organ Crawl and Nantucket Holiday Stroll.

Andrew is also an accomplished pianist, having won 2nd place in the  Massachusetts Music Teachers Association Judged Festival for piano in April 2021. Previously, Andrew studied classical ballet for 11 years at the Boston Ballet School and performed in five seasons of Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker at the Boston Opera House, notably in the role of Fritz.
